An alternative for the administration of intravenous medications for acute and chronic illnesses in a safe and comfortable “home-like” environment provided by pediatric and adult infusion trained nurses

Provide drug to MD offices through Alliance Pharmacy for both private insurance and Medicaid
Vendor Drug Program patients
Clinic sites run by Nurse Practitioners.  Referrals taken from PCP and all elements of patient care handled by AAIC. See web site for location of Synagis^® clinics

Education on the administration of specialty injectables by physician request and appointment only

PROCESS FOR PATIENT MANAGEMENT

¨ Referral/Prescription phoned or faxed from MD offices must be complete

¨ Physician receives fax acknowledging receipt of referral

¨ Referral imaged and information entered in our database

¨ Referral sent to reimbursement for benefits eligibility verification and coordination of medical and pharmacy benefits

¨ Patient contacted within 48 hours of receipt of referral. Explanation of insurance benefits and out-of-pocket responsibilities reviewed. Patient education started with this contact

¨ Prior authorization obtained as required

¨ Communication with physicians regarding status of referral within 48 hours after receipt of referral.

ALLIANCE Offers More…

Medications infused include but are not limited to Remicade^®, Tysabri^®, IVIG, Antibiotics & Antifungals, and Pituitary Stimulation Testing.

Specialty injectables include but are not limited to Growth Hormone, Hep C Drugs, Synagis^®, Humira^®, Raptiva^®, Enbrel^®, Xolair^® and others. Appointments are Monday through Friday, with Saturday and evening appointments also available.

AAIC Services

AAIC provides case management, ongoing education and associated clinical management as required for each therapy. These include timely TB testing, depression checks and monitoring for appropriate labs. Specialty lab draws are also available to all infusion patients.
